About Me

Hi! The TEFL idea has come about as a result of me firstly realising that I would like to be a teacher, having worked in UK secondary and primary schools over the past several years, and secondly realising that I'm not getting any younger and the time to do the whole living overseas thing is now!
I'm really quite flexible over where I teach. Ideally, somewhere I've never been to before: anywhere in South America certainly factors into that equation. Without actually being able to speak Spanish, some people tell me I have convincing pronounciation, hahaha!
I really love travelling, and whilst I am fortunate to have seen a great deal of the world, I haven't immersed myself in another culture or travelled extensively (longest time I've been out of the UK is six consecutive weeks). Now's the time, I feel! I have to figure some things out first, but hopefully I'll be teaching English abroad sooner rather than later...
