Thanks for accepting. I am on the weekend course at the moment, having a great time. I plan to start the rest of the 140 course later this week. I have the same aim as you, I really want to try and find a job in the Middle East, I have a degree and hope to have the Tefl soon but I dont have the 2 years experience and I was just wondering how you got on and how you would approach the job seeking part of it.
Are you in Bahrain now? Seems to be uite hostile out there at the moment. Hope your job is still secure and hopefully they will come to a reasonable solution in the country soon.
Appreciate your help
Saj
Hi Jess
I have been offered a job in Bahrain, which is not far from Dubai. It looks ok. It's been very hard to get a job to be honest. They all look for experience. I got in touch with an english language school directly and basically sold myself and what I could do for them. The money isn't as good as I'd hoped, but i'm hoping to do some private lessons to make it up. Good luck in China.

Hey Johnny, Just wondering if you have had any luck with getting a job in the UAE? I'm doing the China internship which leaves next week, but am hoping to head to Dubai in Septemeber.

Hi Laura
Thanks for getting back to me. I notice from a lot of the middle east jobs that they are looking for people with lots of experience. Is there any way around this? I don't have practical experience. Any ideas how I might get around this? I'm looking to try and go as soon as possible.
John
