About Me
I have 2 sons, aged 22 and 20, one is travelling round NZ, the other still in the UK.
I am travelling around Australia at present, having been here for 2 years, give or take a month or two to NZ and Uk now and then!
Prior to this I was in NZ for 6 months and South East Asia 6 months, started travelling in Sept 2007 and just keep on going!
Have been a member of helpx throughout, and met some wonderful people, done some amazing jobs, (volunteer work)learnt some skills, used some existing ones, all in all a fantastic experience!
Life is great!

I'm an empty-nester too who is hoping to be on the China internship for August... I'm still waiting for my passport though so hopefully it will all pan out timewise!. (BTW I lived in Australia as a child and LOVED it.)
My ultimate goal after the internship is to teach in an orphanage somewhere, but it looks like that is done mostly on a volunteer basis, so I'll have to wait and see where this all leads. what is this helpx you mention in your profile?

THanks for the message, I am thinking of going for the August intake if I can, it sounds great, and another good skill to use whilst traveling!

Hi Jinty,
Looking at your profile I'm guessing we're both past our twenties and considering the Chinese Internship. If you do go ahead for the August intake, it would be great to keep in contact as we prepare for it.
I'd also love to hear about your other travels as I'm hoping that China will be my stepping stone to a new 'career' of travelling the world!
