About Me

Hi, I'm Jewels, a nineteen year old from Australia who accidently stumbled back onto her dream of teaching English as a foreign language after nearly three years of forgetting she'd ever dreamt it. I want to find work in Australia helping migrants learn English before I venture out into the big, wide world and teach abroad, but, when I do go and teach, I think I'll go to Argentinia, South America first. No particular reason, that was just where my finger happened to land when I closed my eyes and waved my finger over a map of the world to decide where I would go first when I went abroad. If I do go to Argentinia, I would also like to do some volunteer work helping the people living in the slums. I chose to do the 40hr TEFL online course as I live in a very isolated area, and am not able to attend classes in Melbourne or Adelaide, my two closest cities. My passion is writing, and I hope one day to be a published novelist. I spend most of my days hanging around in my online writing community FanStory, reading and reviewing other people's works, and doing some writing myself.
