Hi jessica, seen you where on the china internship and thought I would add you as I havent been on this alot. I got my acceptance letter and I am just looking to get flights now (i think i may have left it a bit late!) im from liverpool so will probably be flying out from manchester, where about are you flying out from? are you looking forward to it? im getting a bit nervous now!

Yeah it was a gr8 feeling finally getting the letter!! I've gt one more lesson plan 2 do and dats me finishd the course..have no motivation though!! Your on the ball..flights and all booked! :O Ye are arriving in China on the 1st of Feb is it?

I don't know yet, was thinking of pretty much just arriving on the 5th just cos i dint want 2 be in China on my own without a word of Chinese!! But if ye are all going out for the first, I woudn't mind going then too!! I could meet ye and we could all go together?

Hope you don't mind me inviting myself along!:) If you could send me on your flight details or information, I could look it up! My rep hasn't sent me any info yet..he said he would send it on with the invitation letter for my visa! Thats gona take a few weeks i think...I kinda prefer to get organised now though!

Hi Jess, I just put how many GCSEs etc I have rather than list the grades, as I also thought there wasn't much room! I'm quite lucky really because I spent 2 years travelling and worked in Australia for 6 months so I wrote about that in the International Experiences bit. It was also a small section though so I don't think they're after much - to be honest I didn't really get what that bit was all about, it's a bit vague! I'm sure listing holidays and stuff is ample!

Have you started on the course yet? I've just reached checkpoint 3 and it's alot more challenging than the previous ones!!

I'm not entirely sure how long it takes to hear back. I think i was told that i may be up to 4 weeks! Grr! I'm hopefully going to do some travelling afterwards, it all depends on how much money i've got! I'm thinking of going to Nepal for a few weeks before it starts! Ideally I'll be able to use TEFL to travel and teach for quite a long time. That would be the life! 

The course has not been too difficult. Some of it is really easy and some of it is completely brand new! I am enjoying it though and it's not too daunting and the workload isn't horrific, which is nice!
