My name is Helen, I am from VIP China program who is recruiting oral English teachers for china's secondary schools. We learned your information from the internet and thought that our program can meet your requirement.
Here are more details about our VIP China program. We have been doing this program for more than three years, we cooperated with more than 200 schools all over China, most of them are public middle high schools, and placed more than 300 teachers of native English speaker from all over the world in our partner schools. Half of our teachers are from USA, Canada, Australia, UK and other European countries, and the other half are from African countries.
If you choose to work with us, and especially if you have concerns, I am here as your advocate and advisor. I promise to always give you straight answers, and to do my best to help familiarize you with the amazing experience of teaching in China. I have no doubt that teaching in China will be one of the most profound events of your life, the people of China will overwhelm you with their kindness and concern for you, perhaps the most attractive feature of this job is the degree to which you will be welcomed at the school. Even in larger cities, you will typically have the status of a local superstar, and words cannot express the warmth that the children and townspeople will show you. The food was fantastically good almost everywhere, and there are always interesting things to explore.
If you are interested or any question, pls contact with me by: helengan2006@hotmail.com
Looking forward to your reply!
With my best rgds, Helen
Honestly ICE need to start paying me commission! Did you get HepB jab? I need to ring the docs tomorro to see if i've got enough antibodies from an old jab left over... otherwise i got em all except rabies cos i aint gonna let a dog come near me! dogs in foreign countries are always skanky it's kinda sad. im not takin a mosquito net for some reason. i'd say it was macho but it's probably just stupid. what tefl books you gettin? i've got nowt like that sorted cos not sure who we're gonna be teaching and all the books seem to be either advanced or beginner or intermediate... and my backpack is pitifully small! DVDs are a good idea!... if only my netbok had a dvd drive! just for the record my room is always tidy...ish. don't wanna rub it in your face but im basically packed now... hungry to get to china and kick some rabbid dogs!!! (joke :P)
Hi, I'm flying from Heathrow on the 5pm flight (on 22nd). Then I fly from Dubai at 4.10am and arrive in Beijing at 3.10pm. Sucks that I have to get to Heathrow when there is a perfectly decent airport in Manchester, but hey ho. Gonna be one surreal day.
gutted to see your preparations are not going great jessica! i'm organised but it's overrated i'm gonna miss the last-minute mad panic i think..... I did get my money from ICE and it did come next day delivery and I'd probably recommend it as it just takes a load of pressure off for when we actually arrive in China baby! Why exactly are you not prepared I'm intrigued??
Hi! I finished the TEFL course a while back. I'm going on the August China internship and so are you, it seems!
hi, I think my visa may be at the post office :) I have to collect it in a bit. Have you booked your flights? I am looking now and they seem to be between £700-£1000!! What website are you looking at? Do you know what time we need to be in Beijing on the 23rd or does it not matter?
I am getting too excited now :D xx
Did you get your flight sorted? I think there's quite a few people on the same flight looking at your wall! Good times. I put the south of china with 2-5 year olds, bit apprehensive about the fact that they can change your placement on your performance in the orientation period, I hate being judged! Where did you put? Do you have any plans after teaching? i'm hoping to travel around se asia if I can make my money last that long! Getting well nervous now! xxx
Hey, did you get your tickets sorted? You flying out on the same flight? We'll have to sort something out to meet up while we wait to board.xx
Hi there. i thnk we may be on the same flight too BA 039? x
Hey Jessica, yup we're on the same flight, woohoo!!! (I have a little leg to do to get from cork to london first though :p ) Have asked to be placed in the south but who knows... they mentioned that most of the placements are in the south but everyone seems to have requested it so presumably someone will be stuck in bitterly cold outer mongolia!
