I am currently doing Checkpoint One in the TEFL Basics and I am finding it a little hard to complete. I have been trying to do the assessment for the last three weeks - has anyone else had any problems like me?
I am worried that I will fail this Checkpoint; I REALLY want to pass my TEFL course as I want to start a new career!

I received it back yesterday...I passed! I too spent a lot of time on the answers!
I took about two days and passed first time. It is intense and I spent hours working on it. I like to study things before I answer and that means I always seem to be running out of time but in the end give it a go.
Just submitted it now...I'll continue with the course and I'll keep you all posted with my result...onto Module 3 - An Introduction to English Grammar...
I have not submitted it yet...nearly finished it though! Some of the questions have common sense answers don't they?

Have you submitted your first attempt on your assigment yet? My best piece of advice would be to have a go, then see what advice your tutors come back with. You get three attempts on every assignment so there's no harm in just having a go!
