Well, just back from a long overseas trip for work which has meant putting on hold my TEFL research for a few weeks. But now I'm back and cranking up the search for potential TEFL jobs in Africa or Central/South America...
I've been looking on the Dave's ESL Cafe website and TEFL.com at vacancies, but am wondering what other resources there may be online to find openings. I'd love to hear from people who've found reliable and helpful websites that they can recommend. Given that I have no teaching experience as yet, I'm trying to find vacancies or websites where that isn't a pre-requisite for applying. Plus, there seem to he heaps of vacancies for Asia (China, Japan, Korea, Thailand) but not so many for Africa and S America... so would love to hear about any websites that have more info on my regions of interest.
Onwards and upwards!
Jeanie

Hey Jeanie,
All countries are different - I'd advise chatting to people who are teaching in the places you want to teach in and asking where specifically they found their jobs, as a lot of countries have specialist sites. If you go to the users tab, you can search by country on the right hand side. Just select the country you're interested in teaching in from the drop-down menu and hit search. Leave the name field blank. It'll bring up everyone who's registered in that country and you should find a few people who are teaching there.
Are you still thinking of volunteering, or are you looking for paid work?
