So I surf the web and search out possibilities and opportunities to travel away, teach English and get experience. I've been hammering away at that and - if I think about it - have sent out a great many applications over the past few months, never mind the past few days...
The website that I've used most is ESLemployment.com and followed up links to other websites from there and I'm waiting on the cinsultation call from i-to-i to look at internship possibilities. What I really want to know though is how other people approach the application process and go about searching for placements and work.
I'm not looking for clear answers, but I'd be interested to know if people follow a similar scattershot approach (that I realise may not be fruitful), go through a range of different websites or whether they actually get replies from the institutions they send their resume too.
I don't get any response - I think in total I've had two generic emails guding me to the school's websites. Sadly, in both cases I couldn't take the position at the time and didn't meet the criteria.
I keep on trying and throwing the applications out there but it does feel a little like shouting into a void at time. If another approach - perhaps ringing places up, using a different ESL jobs website or focusing on an intern placement instead - proves more effective then brilliant. Anyone else's thoughts and experiences would be welcome! Thanks in advance!

No actually, and that's a very good point.
Thanks for the tip Steve!
