Absence... and Return

Whoa. Where did I go? My mind has been completely off TEFL stuff lately while I've been busy with other stuff, going through medical treatment and other things. Looking at the calendar though and seeing that the beginning of June isn't far off and that I'll soon be tripping off to teach English at Italian summer camps (if all goes well), I need to get back in touch with things.

So where am I up to? I'm set to go out to go through the Lingua senza frontiere 4-day training process in Northern Italy at the start of June and where I go after depends on where they want me and what I'm able to do.

Before then I've basically got to get ready, keep on going with the health stuff to make sure I can make the journey and do the job and prepare myself for the adventure. Having realised that it'll be time to go before I know it, I'm now resolved to start getting things together for travelling, revising what I learnt in the TEFL course and psyching myself up for it all. Hopefully I'll be able to get some classroom experience volunteering at a local community centre before ther summer camp, but I'm still waiting to hear back from them.

The future is exciting. TEFL has definitely been on the backburner recently but I'm returning to the boil. Here's to getting my head back in things and making it all happen...
