Hey!
I'm James Clayton and it's nice to meet you. Having completed the TEFL course and got a whole stack of specialist certificates (as well as finishing my postgraduate degree) way back in 2009 I'm eager to travel and teach. Right now, I'm working out how to make that happen...
Aside from that, I'm a writer and do lots of creative stuff. Every week I write a column on film, pop-culture and 'philosophy' for the Den of Geek website (http://www.denofgeek.com/search.php?q=James+Clayton&offset=0&submit=Go!).
I also keep a random blog (The Colour Out of Cyberspace - http://coloursofjamesclayton.tumblr.com/) where I post up things I find inspirational, interesting or cool and write haiku verse (Miniature Giant Haiku Musings of James Clayton - http://miniaturegianthaiku.tumblr.com/).
There's much more and I'm developing creative projects and ideas all the time. I generally live to absorb culture, write myself and dream of travelling, adventuring and, yeah, taking the TEFL trail around the globe. If you're on Twitter, you can always find me talking away there as well... (http://twitter.com/james__clayton/)
Say hello any time! :)

Thanks Cherogoth! It looks really promising and thanks for the tip!
Hey Delilah!
I have no idea: all I know is that - for various reasons - I won't be getting to travel until well into next year but I'm wide open. Long-term I'd love to go to the Far East (one of my life ambitions is to experience Japan) but at the moment it's more likely I'll be looking to Europe first. I've got the TEFL qualifications and I'm eager to get out there, teach English and explore the world. It's exciting to have that prospect ahead of me.
How about you? Thanks for being the first person to leave a comment!
Your job sounds cool. Where abouts are you hoping to teach next year? x
