This was a visit to Oriana Zoo near Christchurch, NZ. For an extra few few bucks you could 'feed the lions' little did we know that it involved sitting in the back of a truck and being driven into the middle of the lion enclosure. There was only (what seemed like) thin wire between them and us. It was a fantastic experience, those kitties are way bigger in real life than I imagined.
