Hello people,
After 6 months of travelling Asia and being filled with inspiriation the time has come to travel the globe taking each country as it comes. First stop 'learn how to teach' Thailand. Then China, Japan and then wherever the wind takes me. My dream is to travel the world with an open minded person and LIVE LIFE to the maximum. Forget about kids and careers until you are 35, then you will have no regrets....

Hello people, Just a query regarding the 120 hour TEFL Course. I am approaching the end of the 60 hour online part of the course and have heard that after completing the course you can't access the infromation is this true? Also, after checking the other modeules (not part of the 60 hour online) it seems there is no testing involved. Is this true? (there are some quizzes but I assume they are pretty easy...

Those going on the Thai internship in May 2011 how much money are you taking and what are your plans after the internship? My plans are China S Korea then Japan so need to have money saved up for flights visas etc... Anyone with a similar plan to this get in contact1 John

I suggest that if you start try and keep it going because I seem to have lil stints then come away from it for a month. Glad to see your onboard then.. Add me on FB and i will start a group.

Nope never taught b4. In fact English was one of my worst subjects but this oppurtinity can't be missed. Slowly moving through the TEFL Course now its just finding the time to put in to it. I was very close to going on the May one but decided against it since I wanted to go with more money and I had very little time to complete the TEFL Course. They are all buzzing now since they are pretty much flying out tomorrow. There must be about a 10,000 comments on the FB page they set up lol. So anyway I am 100% going on the Oct internshi,p perfect continuation of summer. Been Thailand, its crazy and beautiful country. So I don't know if there is a group fpor the Oct internship right now but I will have browse and let you know so we can get a better idea of who is IN!!

I signed up for the China internship and had two months to complete the entire course therefore I had to do some every night. I remember Christmas day last year I was so hungover and still attempting to do a module! Quite honestly it was the bain of my life and stressed me out so much, but so worth it at the end :) good luck with it! Having chalkboard for questions will be a massive help!
Yeah I know I have enough cash now but I have suffered all winter just to pay of my friggin university debts and last years travel so it seems stupid to give up my job now (just as I am getting out of the red). TRUST ME I can't wait to set off but am planning to hang around throughout the UK summer hence the Thai October intership is ideal. BUT in reality I think I will be off before that. Its just too exciting. Been looking at this EPIK programme it sounds like one of the best options so S Korea may well be my first destination. Just got to get this damn TEFL course out the way which I have been putting off a little too much recently.. What did you do?

mate, your thinking is exactly the way i'm going about my business aswel lol. thailand, china and then japan. We all know how competitive japan is and if you do make it there mate, then good on ya!
