And The Winner is...

Three finalists went through to the semi-final of 'Come TEFL with Me':

PDixon - 'Come TEFL with Me...in Japan'

Bazteach - 'Come TEFL with Me...in Spain'

Elkist - 'Come TEFL with Me...in South Korea'

The reason we took three finalists instead of five is that the remaining entries all had one vote, so it was impossible to take any more entries through to the final.

Our panel of judges have made a decision...

Congratulations to PDixon with his 'Come TEFL with Me...in Japan!' entry!

All three judges received the entries anonymously and decided that Paul painted the most inspirational picture of TEFLing in his destination, his entry was the most informative, whilst still making us laugh and feeling very jealous at the same time! However, there wasn't a single entry that we didn't enjoy reading, so thank you to everyone who entered the competition!

Paul, you've won £150 of Amazon vouchers and an Instant Teacher Kit and we'll drop you an email right now with more details.

The runner up was Bazteach with his 'Come TEFL with Me...in Spain' entry:

Bazteach wins an Instant Teacher Kit! Woop!

Thanks again to everyone who took part in the competition, we loved reading every single entry and have a suitcase by the door on standby! :)

alast my friend - the teachers kit would prove very useful because my third grade classes have no text book and it will help with my evening classes that i do with my friend...

I'm sure teaching will be fine - if you are lucky, the school that you go to might already have lessons and worksheets left by previous teachers...this happened to my friend, although it's slightly annoying when she complains she has to do planning (which is once every now and then) - which usually means the worksheet for a specific lesson is missing and she has to actually make one...lol

Stay on Chalkboard and keep us all posted on how teaching goes - if ever you need some ideas just pop by!

I am amazed i went through to the next round :P Congrats to you both.

And if you dont need that instant teacher kit Paul let me know im starting teaching in february and havent a clue lol ;)

Well done you two!

Thank you every one for voting - Everyones post was a pleasure to read - i am sure it was very difficult for the i-to-i team to decide.

I will spend the vouchers wisely, probably on christmas presents etc

I wish every luck on their TEFL course and i hope to see you all in Japan :P

Congrats to PDixon on winning first place. It is a decent blog and I can see why he pipped me to the post. Have fun spending your vouchers mate.
