About Me

Curious and wanting more out of life! Brought up abroad in several countries, such as Brunei for 3 years.(shell/BG familiy). English and Dutch are my mothers and farthers tongue. Love to travel, backpack, climb, camping and see & experience new things. Studied Ba. Museum Studies/Cultural Heritage in the Netherlands and gained experience in:- museumeducation- exhibition design (designing replicas of museum objects for education use)- program management- grant management in the cultural & educational sectorNext year I would like to take a gap year, and combine work & travel. Hopefully I can find something in the field of museum, heritage, archeology, conservation and teach English at the same time.  I'm hoping to atain my TEFL diploma by the end of this year (2011). So if you have any thoughts, ideas for me, please let me know.

Seeing Lek in the recent photos on the home page, prompted me to look at your profile!  I volunteered at the park in May this year.  Meeting Lek was an incredible experience and working so close to and with the elephants was so rewarding and something I will never forget.
