Log in to leave a comment or Create an accounti'm from the U.S. and I went to a travel medicine clinic to get my shots since they do the recommended shot research. Hep A and B are required, if you haven't had them yet, which I hadn't. Also, being up to date on your DPT (diphtheria, pertussis and tetanus) and MMR (measles, mumps and rubella) is required, but chances are you're up to date on those. Also, Japanese encephalitis is recommended, so I went ahead and got that. And you will need to get either the shot or pill form of the Typhoid vaccine. I-to-I says that we will not be in malaria infested areas, so we wont need to worry about that, but I chose south China on my application and malaria is found in places in southern China. So even with i-to-i saying we're safe from that, I figured mosquitos can travel, plus the pills were cheap for malaria prevention so I did get a prescription for those, I figured why not. I hope that helps!
