Hi Herbal

I'm afraid I know very little about Panama, I'd love to know more.  How, when and why are you there and what's the teaching like?  What age are the students and what type of teaching are you doing (school, college, private lessons etc.)?  What was it like the first time you took a class?  I'm sure that if I finally get to teach, my knees will be like jelly.  Perhaps I should start by sitting down!

I'm living with my husband in a deeply rural part of France where there are more cows and sheep than people.  That may present a bit of a problem when finding students!  There are several towns within an hours drive though, so I hope that my prospects will be a little better if I'm prepared to travel.  I love the views and countryside here, so I don't really want to move.  We also like growing our own fruit and veg., and that probably wouldn't be possibe if we lived in the town.

I got interested in TEFL teaching after helping the kids of some of our neighbours with their English.  How did you get into it?
