I have just posted a new topic on the Teachers in France group all about the TESOL France job list that I subscribe to. As I live in a sleepy part of France, there's never anything anywhere near me, but for those in and around Paris, like you, it could be valuable.
Have a look at the thread and let me know if there is any other way I can help. Hope you find it useful.
Regards, Yvette
Hi Helenann,
Welcome and congratulations on your recent TEFL certification.
Your question about work requires a question as to your current status. Currently living in Paris... are you an EU citizen? British? From there several have posted on the Teaching in France site regarding looking for work and where and how and what.... :)
I wish you a lot of luck. I will post on the blog a recent success I had in looking for students, but this is definitely NOT a way to obtain a salaried position. I am one of those lone wolverines out there, doing cours particuleir to individuals in their homes, restaurants, their offices, which limits income. However, word of mouth, expanding contacts and networking through these people have opened up some new doors for me.
Wish you the best! Bon Courage
Veronica
