Hi All!

Been reading lots about people teaching in schools and it all sounds bloomin' amazing, BUT, not seen as much information about teaching in the business industry.  I've heard people get hired to work with businesses teaching English but can't find much info on it.  Has anyone got any experience of looking for work in places other than schools?

It is without a doubt, if all goes to plan, that I will at some point teach in schools, however, I am thinking at the moment that I would like to teach in Europe but wondered if many opportunities existed in the business sector rather than school education?

TEFL has got me wound up like a spring waiting to explode but where do I 'boing' first??

Any info is much appreciated.

Cheers,

John

Hi Grovesy,

I'm interviewing with some language schools next month in Stuttgart.  Big demand there for teachers, mostly free lance work until you get experienced.  I also was told that there is a company using online English language instruction.  Still waiting to get more information on that.  Most large companies hire language instructors and they work right there on site (i.e. Mercedes Benz, Porsche, BMW, etc.)  This may be the case in other countries as well.
