A long shot I know but was wondering whether any of you currently based in Korea can help me? My boyfriend and I are planning on heading to Korea August 2011 (exciting stuff!) but are trying to tye up a few loose ends beforehand. He's recently been diagnosed with type 1 insulin dependent diabetes. Obviously we have the NHS here in the UK so he doesn't have to pay for his treatment, which I know won't be true in Korea and I imagine he'll have to pay for the medication even with a decent medical insurance plan but does anyone know if medication is affordable or really expensive?
Any feedback would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks in advance,
