Ok I have to confess, the main reason I want to go to South Korea is because the pop music they have over there is simply awesome! not sure if I can bag myself a pop star but one can only dream... Want to know if I'm the only one with this reason to go teach in South Korea?? If anyone here is already teaching there, maybe tell us a bit of what the culture is like?? |

I LOVE TOP!!!! Ah I'm in love with him, feel like I'm 15 again. On you tube type in "Big Bang Secret Garden English" and there is a parody of a popular drama from here with Big Bnag. It's hilarious and they are so hot!

Lol, I don't think you'll be dissappointed by the amount of KPop out here! I had never really heard any before I came here, but I now find myself singing along (not really of course, as I don't understand it). |

Haha I was introduced to k-pop by a friend who is actually more of a European-culture lover and I was instantly hooked and more of a k-pop lover than I think she'll ever be =D But I think the first thing that made me want to teach specifically in South Korea was because of k-pop =) I was hoping I wasn't the only one... lol U-Kiss, Big Bang, Super Junior forever ♥ Kevin, G-Dragon, Seungri, Sungmin, Ryeowook, Donghae, Kyuhyun... *sigh* ♥ They all seem so perfect right?! =D |

I am on module 4 of the TEFL course and my friend from school is korean and she got me into the kpop scene. I love 2ne1! But I'm also trying to go to Korea to help the kids learn english and become a better teacher. But kpop is awesome! |

Yay! I love this post! I'm also a huge fan of kpop. The boybands are just so nice on the eyes :p I had no idea it was as big as it is until I found out about it on a blog called 'Eat your Kimchi'! It is a great blog for information on everything to do with Korea and teaching. You should check it out. They also have loads of different kpop songs..worth the look :). |

This was an initial factor in my decision to go to SK too, but their culture is just so rich after researching into it some more! Also, SNSD, f(x), 2NE1, Super Junior, Lee Hyori, IU, HyunA are my favourites :P |
