This may seem like quite an obscure query, but what is the average price of stationary and art materials in general? I'm quite the big art nut and draw or doodle at least once a day, this along with needing such supplies for teaching (General usage and creating fun flash cards etc....), I thought this might be worth looking into. Thanks in advance! |

Depends where you live and what your after... If you dont need anything too fancy and is for school then i use the 100yen shop (Japans answer to pound land or the dollar store) You can get almost everything there including stickers, tape, scissors, felt tips, crayons, mechanical pencils, normal pencis, card, paper, note books, knifes, cutting boards, folders, files, dairies, glue, whiteout, rulers, protractors etc etc. Not only that but you can get basic toys, mini gifts, mini black/white boards, chalk, whiteboard pens, first aid, garden stuff, food, drink, hooks, curtains, shelves, picture frames, kitchen items, chop sticks...etc etc the best thing...nearly every thing is 100yen each - some stuff is a little more... I get my stickers and funky erasers from there that i uses as prizes...you can also get playing cards, big dice and stuff for games in class. You can get paper of most sizes, including photo paper and also all the equipment for japanese writing... if you live in or near a city then you most definitely will have an art/stationary store for better quality items that will of course cost more... |
