I haven't actually booked my flights yet... But this is the one I plan to book tomorrow!
It leaves Heathrow at 16.35 on 22nd August and arrives in Peking at 09.30 on 23rd.

I thought it'd be good to have a group for the flight so we can "meet" each other before hand :)

i think that maybe if we printed the I-to-I logo onto an A4 piece of paper and then stuck it to our hand luggage, or something similar, what do you guys think?

or maybe one of you know london heathrow well and could suggest a place to meet once through passport control??

i dont have a phone at the moment and i am going to wait till i get out there to get one, so it would be great if we could have some sort of signal!!!

Hey, I'm on this flight too. I've never been to departures at Heathrow Terminal 5, only arrivals to pick up other travellers. I'm up for the big hand logo. x

Hey Guys I'm on this flight too.  It'd be cool if we could arrange a time and place to meet before check in so we could sit together but I don't really know the airport either so no great suggestions. 

Just as a side point does anyone know how to change your user name on this?

Terminal 5 is pretty big, was there last november. From what i remember they give you the gate number when you check in so maybe we could all aim to meet at the gate with i-to-i Hand logo's?! Is everyone checking in online the day before? if so maybe some how we can plan to try and choose seats near each other?  Kate

i've never been to heathrow terminal five either, and have no idea how the flights work or what i'm doing. oh dear.... booking seats close together sounds good though. it's awesome that there are so many of us on this flight too! xx

@RP73334: I looked on skyscanner and other comparison sites, but then just booked directly through BA (which was the most expensive but it saves the stress of connections and stopovers etc [= ) hope you get it sorted soon :) x

how about meeting at number 1 Cafe nero´s,  in terminal 5, anytime between 1.30 and 3, check in should open at 2.35 ish, so time to have a drink and get to chat, and then set off to check in before check in closes at 4 ish.

let me know how this sounds,

i land at 2.30 from madrid,

so i should be able to get to cafe neros before 3, and if we all checking together we might be able to get seats together!!!yey!!!!

I'm on it! I'll be the one with a swollen face as I have to have my first ever fillings 5 days before we go... Nightmare!

I'm flying in from manchester so I assume i wont be in the same  bit as you lot to begin with. I'll have to seek you out. Anyone fancy a glass of overpriced wine before we get on the flight?? You can pre book where u sit for an extra £20 on the BA if your tickets are electronic, i personally am jst hoping i'll be lucky and have someone near by. Be handy if we all had someone elses number though for people who get lost, (on my track record I'll be at the opposite end of the terminal.)
