I am a member of TESOL France ( http://www.tesol-france.org/index.php ) and I am subscribed to their job list.  They send out emails (almost daily) for positions teaching English, mostly around Paris.  They do have a disclaimer on the bottom of the emails about not having verified the authenticity of the offers (so recipient beware) but it is fairly easy to do a few checks on the establishments.  Many of the main universities or language schools post jobs quite often, so you get to know a few of them.  I only wish I lived somewhere near enough to make use of the service!  My annual membership of TESOL France cost 22 Euros (including unemployed concession) last year.  I am not sure if you need to be a paid up member to subscribe to the job list.  If any of you try unsuccessfully to subscribe to the job list and don't want to join, I can try copying the emails onto this thread.

Thanks Yvette - good info to have.  The Paris thing is always the catch.

You are a star Yvette!!! I really want to start off in Paris this summer if at all possible and I'll try whatever it takes to do so. ;)
