Internet based teaching companies seem to be popular and growing here in France.  On the advice of the French employment service, Pole Emploi, I keyed ‘soutien scolaire’ and ‘cours a domicile’ into my search engine.  Loads of results came up, so it depends where you are and what subjects the companies deal with as to how useful the results will be.  Most seem to have a recruitment page and some even advertise their jobs with Pole Emploi and other employment service providers.  They require different levels of educational attainment (eg. BAC+3 or +4), some require experience and others require you to have an up-to-date extrait de casier judiciaire (CRB check) too.  Here are some I made a note of:
