Advice on assignments

Hi to one and all. I've nearly finished my 120hr course - thoroughly enjoyed it but it was tougher than I expected it to be, though I've passed it all so far.   I'd just like to pass on some things regarding assignments to anyone just starting out - hindsight is a wonderful thing... Give yourself plenty of time - don't sit down on a sunday afternoon and think you're going to do a whole...

New to teaching - France

Hi all, this is my first post.  I love reading about everyone going off to exotic countries to teach, but is anyone planning to teach in France or another southern european country?  I live in France, in the Auvergne and I want to start off by teaching privately, but I read a post from someone in Spain who started a language school in an outbuilding. It has really got me thinking - lots of people...

i-to-i suitable to teach in France??

Hi guys,   Is a 140hr i-to-i course going to be enough to secure me some kind of work teaching English in France?? I keep reading that the 4 week Trinity/ CELTA courses are much more recognised in Western Europe but I have a new baby and limited resourses so a 4 week course isn't an option for me!

France

Hi Guys. I have dual citizenship in France so I'm looking into being TEFL certified to teach there. I just graduated from teacher's college this month so I have a lot of experience with children. I'm just trying to find the course that best fits my situation. Any one a teacher before they took this certification?   Also- anyone looking into / working in France. How did you job finding process go?   Thanks!   Sarah

Advice welcome.....

Hey everyone... I started the 140 hr course a couple of months ago and am finding it stimulating but at times challenging! Have almost completed the 60 hr main course though and I’m attending the weekend seminar in Bournemouth shortly ; o ) . Recently when I contacted several local language schools for some work experience, I was asked, was my course either CELTA or Trinity accredited? When I stated it was a distance learning...
