Parent TEFL Teachers

Just started my course and already so excited about going to teach!!  Can anyone tell me when is a good time to go to Taiwan?  Before the Summer Holiday or when the next semester starts?  I would like some info on Taiwan and any advice you may have?  Any Do's and Don'ts and schools or agencies to contact or avoid?????

Hi all of you. Thanks for your comments and feedback. I have discovered that if you want to do something you can make it happen. As in any country a single parent will need a support system and that is exactly why I posted this comment in the first place. Hey all you TEFLers out there.  Can anyone help me.  I am planning on teaching in Taiwan in next year and am taking my 14 year old daughter with me.  Does anyone there have kids with them and how are the schools for English speakers?  We are very easygoing and adaptable and want to stay for at least three years.  If you are living in China or Taiwan with your child please contact me.

Hello,   I've been interested in TEFL'ing for awhile now. I'm in the US, have seriously bad wanderlust but I also have a 2.5 year old. I've been hunting around trying to see if there are any other single parents doing this and what that entails. Are there? If so, how is the family aspect of teaching handled? Any advice or information would be wonderful.
