Hi Sian, I am hoping to move to Turkey (Istanbul) in February, I am currently in discussions with a language school in Bursa and will be undertaking an online demo lesson on Thursday (scary as I have only just qualified!). Anyway, presuming you have TEFL, there are many schools in Turkey looking for native English teachers, a bit of focused web surfing will yield many possibilites. Get the local language schools contact details and just give them a call (try to focus on the private language schools, better facilities, philosophy and pay), you don't have to speak Turkish, and it is not required, there is always someone who speaks English. I am sure if you approach 4 or 5 you will soon have a job. A couple of links below that may help...

John, it will be my first time teaching in Turkey. Is it harder to get a job when you are only a high school graduate with a TEFL certification?
