Game:  Alibi

Have you heard of the conversational game alibi?  It's great fun to play with teens/young adults especially!

Tell your students a woman died in their village last night (look serious) and that she had a list of their names in her bag.  Tell them the police want to question them.  Put them into pairs and give them 5 minutes to think of the questions the police might ask them (do some on the board together first).  Then write 'alibi' on the board and see if anyone knows what this means.  Tell them they will now be given 5-10 minutes to make up their 'alibi' together (what they were wearing, doing, eating etc).  Then you need to put them into groups of 4....2 will first be the policemen and interview the other two seperately (get one student to go out of the classroom from each group).  As they interview the second person ask them to record the differences in the stories!  Great fun!
