How to Keep Control in Your Class

Most school teachers in the UK or Australia would kill for the students we TEFL teachers are lucky enough to have! That’s not saying all your students will be angels. Some classes will be hard to control (especially if there are 40 or 50 students!). You may have discipline problems. However, don’t let it get you down. Don’t feel negative towards your students – it may be, for example, they just get excited because they’ve...

Making Rain

This was an introduction class. Three teachers including myself combined classes and played team games. This is a great way to introduce yourself and let the students get to know each other as it builds confidence and team-work skills. This activity is called Making Rain, I ask the students to do different things to make the sound of rain. I will post the instructions as a comment.
