Hello,

I am considering making a move over to Chengdu early next year and I was wondering if there is anyone here who could give me their opinion on the place? I have been to China twice but have never really got far into central China. Also, living in England the weather in Chengdu appeals to me.

I am thinking about Chengdu because of the weather, it is going to be different to anywhere else I have been in China, its situated to lots of luch countryside, the home of the Panda and is located (sort of) close to Tibet, where I would like to visit.

Apart from this I know nothing about the city apart from Sichuan food is supposed to be the hottest in the world?! I am just wondering what peoples experiences have been in Chengdu, how your schools have been and if you recommend it.

Any advice would be appreciated!
