I'm a little stuck on Checkpoint 3 - Teaching the skills,
I've completed the first task, however my creative flair has gone for a burton on the second one.
The question im on is this.
Receptive skills.
Answer either a or b.
a. Choose a song and think about how you could use it in a lesson with a group of learners. Include the relevant lyrics and explain what language point(s) or skill(s), in addition to listening, your students can practise with the help of the song. What level of learner would you use the song for? Remember that it is a listening lesson, so they need to listen to the song at some point rather than simply read the lyrics. (Write about 150 words apart from the song lyrics)
b. Select a reading text of up to 200 words (include it in your answer, and provide the source). Outline how you would use the text in class in develop reading skills. Remember to structure your answer according to the information in the learning module. Divide your lesson into pre reading, while reading and post reading stages. (Write about 150 words apart from the article)
By no means am I wanting an answer to this, just a little guidance or example material as a starting block.
Any help would be much appreciated
