Hey, I need advice for question 10 on the One to One assignment. I need to come up with game/activity to get a shy upper intermediate student to speak so that she can improve her fluencyand the topic is Travelling (which is a bit vague). I already put done a couple of warmers to 'loosen' her up but I am stuck for ideas as to what game or activity would encourage her to speak at length. Your advice would be greatly appreciated and taken on board. |

Hey CnMcintosh, I used a roleplay for this question. That way, you can always steer the conversation in the direction you want and the student will have to talk. If you want, message me with the ideas you've used so far and I can try to help you. Good luck! |

Thanks Timkali for the advice. I passed the assignment on Friday though (first time too). I used a discussion led from a newspaper article about air travel. |
