Im really stuck on question 10 on checkpoint 4.
Choose a song and think of 1 or 2 ideas how you could use it in a lesson with adult students. Include the relevant lyrics and explain what language point(s) or skill(s), in addition to listening, your students can practise with the help of the song and how they can practise them. What level of learner would you use the song for? Remember that it is a listening lesson, so they need to listen to the song at some point rather than simply read the lyrics. (Write 1 00-150 words apart from the song lyrics) Completely lost with with this one and i only have 14 days left, Can anyone help me please? Any feed back at all would be helpful and greatly apreciated! Thanks a million! Alan |

I really enjoyed this question but only because I found a good song to work with, I think that's the trick. Have you thought about young students and do a nursery rhyme. I'm thinking e.g the grand old duke of York. Its got numbers and fractions and actions to give the 'total physical response'. Of course the duke of York may be a bit meaningless, you could change it to 'The Emperor of Japan or 'the hoodlums of new york' or something relevent to the country your in. Hope that helps write back if you need some more ideas. |

Sorry alalan disregard my other post I missed that it is for adults. So how about Madonna's material girl. It has lots of discussion points and reasonable grammar. The song is also easy to hear the words. |
