I want to thank those who have put info and tips, i found them useful. All the checkpoints certainly get you thinking and number 5 had be yelling at my notepad and computer a lot but actually its fairly straightforward so if you have it coming up GOOD LUCK! |

Please Help me!!! I am on my last attemp, last checkpoint 5 and I am still getting two questions wrong. Please please look at my answer and tutors comment and tell me what to do. I got a job but if I won't pass I am going to lose it :( question 8 is:Now write a lesson plan for a 45-minute-long lesson on the chosen topic in the space provided below. Click here to remind yourself of the model structure for a lesson plan. To pass this task, make sure each stage of your plan includes an activity description, the type of interaction, and the timing. AND THIS IS MY ANSWER: For example: 1. Warmer. Play pictionary using the words taught in the previous lesson. S-S 5 minutes Answer:
How would you introduce your students to the culture of an English-speaking country? Please describe an activity which would help them learn more about the country and increase their cultural sensitivity. You may use one of the activities mentioned in the module, however please provide specific details about the way you would organise the activity in your class.(Write about 150 words) Answer:
Comment: OK thanks for making changes though I need you to redo two points: 1. There are too many mistakes in your English 2. There's not much STT and there needs to me more sts interaction. |

Here is the structure/contents I'd like you to use:
Warmer - Think of a game (an easy achievable task) which will get their brains 'in the English zone' and set the lesson off on a positive note. The warmer should ideally revise your last lesson's vocab/grammar and/or the key assumed knowledge that is relative to this lessons focus.
Presentation
1. Set the context - think of how you can elicit the target language and also explain how you get across the meaning of the new target language: i.e. time lines, flashcards etc.
2. Concept check – Now you have taught meaning; you need to check they really do understand meaning: i.e. concept questions etc.
3. Drill - how and what?
4. Write on the board - what will you write on the board?
Controlled practice -
Do a controlled speaking practice before the freer practice. This way you can monitor and check for any misunderstandings/mistakes and group correct after. Remember here you need to provide practice for “all” the new target language.
Production/freer practice
Remember you need to also do a freer practice so that students get to practice the language in a freer environment. Here you need to provide practice for “all” the new target language.
ALSO I NEED TO CORRECT Q12 WHICH IS :
