Hey guys, Could any of you help out with questions 6-8 of the business english specialist module? Imagine that you are teaching a multi-cultural group of business English students in an English-speaking country. You have 6 male and 6 female students in your group. I can't seem to come up with anything and it's really frustrating. Thank you, Steven |

@ Lally: Giving people answers is not allowed. If you have some advice for people, feel free to type it here. @ Olly: Firstly, think about the product. Beer. Does everybody around the world have the same attitude to beer? Is it acceptable in every country/race/religion to drink beer? Do the 'rules' differ for women? Then, consider the fact you are teaching a mixed-gender multi-cultural group and that the project requires them to work together. Is this a good idea? If not, how you could you adapt the project, both in terms of content and ways of working, to better suit the needs of the students? |

Basically, what can you tell a student do outside of class to learn English? Keep in mind that they're Business English students who probably have a full-time job in the day. It should also tell you what kind of activities they might already be doing. They just have to expand those activities to include English. hint: news, discussions, |
