Hello everyone! I have found my destiny. Just today I was offered a teaching position in Baotou, China!! Job offer

I was offered a job teaching English for $35 per hour, 20 hours per week, board and food paid for. 50+ yo? a new group for the more mature-aged TEFLers or “ chronologically challenged” (as Steve Budd nicely puts it). Is teaching abroad exclusively for the young ones or do we timed-travelers have lots to offer too!
Have you experienced difficulties gaining a visa or insurance cover in some countries due to age? Do we still have sway at our chosen school to get them to push buttons? Do the students include you socially as well?
Where are the opportunities or are vacancies fewer for us and mainly at the lower or upper end?
