Teaching and Touring in Cambodia

Hello there, I'm thinking of going travelling for a couple of weeks before I start my new teaching job in China but I've never been travelling before especially on my own. Don't know where to start. Does anyone have any ideas of where I can go? Things I can see? Little adventures/ tracks? Cheap flights? Trains? etc All comments welcome as I want to experience as much as can in the short amount of time!!...
