Im currenlty busy with my online combined course and I would love to do the Vietnam internship, only problem is, it starts in August 2012 and I will only be available after mid November 2012 for any prospective jobs/internships.

I was just wondering when the NEXT Vietnam internship will be?

Hi, im interested in the 2013 feb placement, however im worried whether the livinjg allowence will be enough? I have been to Vietnam before and it is cheap but about £200 is very very low!! Also does anyone know how much it costs if you already have your 140 hour course as part of the internship cost is the course!

I've found out that because I'm South African , and we don't fall under Native English speaking countries - although it's one of our official languages - I can't do the Vietnam internship... I have to do the Train & Teach which is double the cost as it includes 60h online TEFL course as well as 4 weeks training in Vietnam before you start teaching - I don't mind the extra training - but I'm already halfway through my 140h combined course - and don't think I would be able to afford double the amount I originally bargained for.
I'm not sure when the date of Train& Teach Vietnam is for next year...maybe I will be able to sort out my finances - because I really had my heart set on going!

HI Ashanti,im thinking of doing the Train & Teach Internship in Vietnam also,it starts on Jan 19th 2013.I am Scottish so dont have to do it but although it is a bit more expensive, i really fancy the training before it just to give me a bit more knowledge and confidence, anyway, let me now how you get on with your plans for it.All the best, Barry

Im also thinking of doing this internship. im Trudy from Ireland, being thinking of tefl a couple of years. originally it was thailand or indonesia that appealed to me but the timing of this vietnam internship suits me the most so thinking of going for this one.  has anyone done the application yet?  I still have to sort that part of it out, probly leaving it a bit late but im sure ill get there :)
