"Hello Mister!"

So my weekend in Bandung was not as much as a holiday as I would have liked, I had to wake up at 5am to drive to Bandung, then wake at the same time the next morning to drive Astrids mom back to Jakarta, wait around and then drive back to Bandung. Still I must note that I enjoy driving a lot so it wasn’t all bad!   On Friday we went for a walk...

Saying Goodbye!!!

One of the hardest things that I have found moving to another country to teach English was not the flight, the language barrier, the food, the money, the training, the courses...in fact it was having to say goodbye!   I spent most of my last 2 months in Britain saying goodbye to Friends. It was quite difficult when my last week of work was fast approaching and then BAM!!! My last day was over and...

The hardest thing of all

Life! It's a mysterious thing that we all go through, every single living thing out there experiences the miracle of what we call life!. For some it is short and fast with hardly a moment of excitement due to doing the same thing over and over again, day in, day out. To that person their life is meaningless, slow and painful...they long for a way out. But you have to remember that life is how...

New found fans!

So recently i received a comment on my Tokyo blog (click here to view) about a JET forum and how famous I was. One person had decided one afternoon to spend his time trolling through endless blogs trying to find suitable material that he can upload to the forum in hope that it will generate publicity for his site.   Luckily for me not everyone is an idiot and some saw through his stupidity whereas...
