Finding a job in Europe!

Hi so I'm awaiting results of my checkpoint 4 (fingers crossed!) and I know this is very premature but I'm hoping to be teaching in either France or Germany in the start of their school year ( I think September onwards) as I'm only going to be graduating from my BA Hons in May!

Does anyone know how you actually go about getting a job in these two countries or has anyone been placed there as of yet?

Any help would be greatly appreciated!!

I'm pretty sure that you need to be in the country to find a job. If you don't have an EU passport it will be very hard (but Briona recently replied to a blog with a couple of options). If you do, it is still going to be difficult. Most jobs want a CELTA or equivalent. They are both super competative and tend to rely a lot on local teachers who are good at English. If you speak French or German fluently you will have a much greater chance.
