hi guys,
i'm stuck for what to do really. I dont know if to just complete a course and then go out looking for the jobs and know i will always have the course, or do course with deadline and project in mind.
What have other people found?
I'm only looking to so a 6 month stint. so korea and japan are unfortunatly out for me.
I've been reading around and i dont know honestly what to do.
anyway advise would be welcome, Thanks
Gemma

Hey,
To simplify things have you thought about doing an internship, where your course and a paid internship abroad are rolled into one package with loads of support. If you're only interested in going away for a few months, the China internship could be perfect for you: http://www.onlinetefl.com/teaching-internships/china/
There are loads of people on Chalkboard who have taken part in the program - just have a mosey through the internship group to meet some of them: http://www.onlinetefl.com/tefl-chalkboard/groups/3-Teach-in-China-Internship
Good luck!
I would definitely check the requirements needed first for the countries you want to teach in before signing up for anything. Some places will only ask for a TEFL, BA or both. A good place to ask questions about qualifications is over at Dave's ESL Cafe. http://www.eslcafe.com/
