Are you looking to work in China?
Do you want to work with Kindergarten children?
Do you want a good Salary?
Do you want weekends off and two ½ days?
If you do, please contact me today. Our kindergarten needs teachers for the new semester starting September. We also have vacancies in our training centers. We are based in GuangZhou, Dongguan, and Foshan all in Guangdong Province, China.
Our school is called CIEO (Canadian International Education Organization)
If you want more details then please get in touch, If you know someone who might be interested then please forward this to them.
If you can’t start September don’t worry, you can still apply as we need teachers throughout the year!
All the best,
Robert
Hey Gaz,
Just to let you know I've moved your post about travelling after the internship here: http://www.tefl-chalkboard.com/groups/3-Teach-in-China-Internship/discussion/337-travel-after-china-internship-in-july?page=1#posts-2245 as it should get more people looking at it that way.
Happy planning!
I'll find out today what the dealio is with the holidays. We have an invite to a wedding thats going on in the city here so we might end up doing that. Maybe the dragon boat festival. I'm looking for a new job online at the mo I think I might like to stay in Chiners for a bit. I want an apartment outside the school grounds though. I have you number now I'll text you keep in touch.
Suppose it's alright bar the being prisoners in the school malarky. We stayed out beyond the curfew a few times and now they dont let us off the grounds. If they carry on like that I think I'll crack. Shanghai is 12 hours from here and I dont know how long we have off for the holiday. Theres feicin no one in this city with any English at all and none of the English teachers bother talking to us (not like they'd be able to either they cant speak English). Sounds like you lucked out with your new school. any plans yourself?
I arrive in Beijing on the 23rd of August. I'm a little nervous but very excited too and cant wait to get out of this job for 7 whole months. No your blogs didnt put me off it was good to hear some real stories as it prepares me if anything goes wrong. How were i-to-i with placing you elsewhere? Were they supportive or did they take their time? I just hope i dont end up like that, i would crack up if i was on my own, at least you gave it a go, i think i would have been out of there in the first few days, especially as the rats were your only friends, no thanks. So your not too far from Dundalk, i was there a few months ago, i love Dundalk. I hope my placement is near or in Shanghai, a friend of mine is out there at the moment he is on my page Andrew Millward, he is in Gansu Province and is loving it. Its thanks to him that i am doing it. So are you going to do a bit of travelling after the teaching?
Hi there, i really enjoyed reading your blog, a few of your titles really made me laugh TICK TOCK IM LOOSING THE PLOT. God love you, i'm glad things are better for you now. Where abouts are you from in Ireland? It would be nice to hear some more of your stories. and also could you explain the toilet/shower????????? Is it really what i think it is???????? How?? How???
Hey, sorry for the late reply! This chalkboard is a nightmare! Doesn't work half the time! Things here are much better, a girl called Alice Pocock moved in with me on Monday. She teaches at a dffernt school, but we share an apartment at mine. So good to be able to talk to someone besides myself!! lol. Things are still not wonderful though, they have given us a curfew of 8pm....uh, not going to happen!! How are things with you? Any sign of moving or someone being placed with you? Hope you're good x
LOLAGE. So it was you who rescued me...I have been wondering as I've heard the stories. Too be fair I'd endured the day trip after a night of drinking and karaoke instead of sleep. I returned to my room at 5am before meeting in the lobby at 6:30. I believe I'd been up for 36 hours before Fridays party had begun, there's my explanation. SMASHING WEEK INDEED.
I've been placed avec Dave Parkes in Zhengzhou, Henan province for about a week now. We've both been sitting in and watching lessons up until now. We begin teaching on Monday. There's a smashing city just 2 minutes up the road from us and there's another two interns in the same area...nae bad hmm?
We had rather obscure night last Saturday, Dave posted some short and brief notes on it if you're interested...
I've heard that you're feeling rather lonesome out there, but don't worry I think there are others in your position and hopefully, if you keep on hounding them, they'll send someone out with you.
I hope you are, and will continue to enjoy the experience,
Tommy x
Hey there,
My name is Emma and I work on the i-to-i team as an Online tutor. The China Internship team are constantly trying to improve the intern experience and have asked me to create some new materials to aid new teachers in their first few weeks. So I thought who better to ask than the interns themselves!!! So, in terms of teaching, my questions to you are:
What would you have liked more help on and what have you struggled the most with in your lessons?
How do you find teaching Chinese students?
What activities do you find work well with your students?
Any feedback, good or bad would be much appreciated. If you didn't feel comfortable and felt stressed here is your chance to let us know and you will be helping future interns.
Please follow this link to leave your much appreciated feedback: http://www.tefl-chalkboard.com/groups/3-Teach-in-China-Internship/discussion/249-calling-all-china-interns
Thanks,
Emma
any word on your moving, id say i will get moved this week thank god
