Hi there, I was looking at a few of your posts and you said you only had a TEFL and no degree but it was still easy to get a job teaching English. Can you suggest some sites where I could find jobs? 

Oh, one more thing.. How will we be offered interviews, would we simply respond to job E-Mails and hope for a reply? Will we be required to travel there or can we simply do it over skype, phone, etc.

Victors is half way between Beijing and Xingtai. Yea, he is a good guy. He'll probably let you get some teaching experience too at his school if you ask!

I've only ever had private students in Shenzhen, never worked in a center or with a Kindergarten, etc. From my observation the centers seem more open to creative learning ideas in Shenzhen then in Hong Kong. METEN English in Shenzhen seems like a great franchise where in Hong Kong they're still very into Cambridge etc (which has it's value). I guess I haven't done as much in the mainland to really compare it.

Personally I would look more at the hours required to work and the lifestyle you'd get out of it. I'm in a Kindergarten in Hong Kong, get a good sallary and finish work at 2:30pm. I do a little extra in the afternoons if I want, if I don't want, then I could easily enough drop my Monday and Wednesday job. In Shenzhen or other cities I'm not sure of the hours. I don't have experience in the mainland outside of Shenzhen.
