Hi Faye. thats what this site is all about. typing to strangers :) ... Im actually planning on leaving for Bali in April, for the last 6 Months I've been looking for Jobs online via Email and Phone and its nearly impossible I've made a lot of contacts over in Indonesia but every road I've gone down has ended in dissapointment as its near Impossible for a South African to obtain a Working Visa (KITAS) if your trying to do it from abroad but every one that I have spoken to have said I should just get to Indonesia and look for a job in person while im there, apparantly once your there face to face with an employer things are alot different and regarding the KITAS most of the schools have a contact in the emigration office and can make a plan to organise a working Visa for you. So im pretty much just going to wing it and head over there and hope for the best and if i dont come right with in a Month of being there im going to head over to Thailand and look for a Job there, its a lot easier for South Africans to get Jobs in Thailand then Indonesia.. Hope that gives you some hope because I know I went through a stage were I was very disheartened and thought I would never end up in Indonesia. Ill keep you posted when I get over there and let you know if it really is as easy as they say to get a Job and organise my KITAS
