Hello parents!
I am one of the chaperones for your son/daughter's trip to China and can't express how excited I am! I decided to start this blog to keep you parents updated on our everyday activities and even share some photos during the trip.
I have been teaching Chinese to both middle and high school students in Georgia for 6 years and have loved every moment of it. I have 2 kids all grown up and have been taking them on trips to China ever since they were one year old. China is a beautiful and diverse country with many learning opportunities and life experiences awaiting. I can guarantee that my best effort will be put forward to ensure your student has a safe and memorable experience!
Please email me at fanggail@hotmail.com if you have any questions.

FlightAware is a free app for iPad that lets you see the plane's progress. The kids are already over Arkansas! Delta and Air China are both available to track.
Thank you so much for making this available to us! It will be a great comfort to know what our kids are up to every day! I hope that Haven will focus on having fun, socializing with his new friends, and soaking up as much of the culture as he can. He will be so busy that he won't have time to think about home. Thanks for bridging that gap. I can't wait to read your posts.
Thanks for setting this up, Gail. We'll be looking forward to seeing you in Beijing. Don't be surprised if we all look pretty tired, though!
