Hi all,
So I did the 20hr classroom course on the weekend just passed and phew it was insane! It was unbelievably manic and with so many ideas and information to be processed, I thought I'd never make it... but I got my certificate yesterday and started part of my 100hrs today and not to brag or anything, but I still have a few working brain cells left up there, as the scores so far are looking pretty damn good :)
So my pearls of wisdom I share with you few who are down to do the classroom part soon:
· Familiarise yourself with the “Nuts & bolts of English”
· If you haven’t already, try and at least do the first 6 exercises of your online course
· Make sure you’ve had a decent night’s rest before hand
· Although provided, take a note book along and a few highlighters
· Don’t be afraid to ask questions
· Make mistakes as you and the rest of your team will learn from them
· Have fun!
Should you have any questions, feel free to contact me! Oh and one more thing... Be creative and take an old mag or two along... trust me on this one :) Cheers for now, I still have some German learning to do. Astrid x

I haven't finished doing the 100 hours yet but I am doing the weekend course on 18th September. I am now done Checkpoint 3. I think its best to have done some of the online course before you do the weekend course. It does say above in Astrid's original post that you should try and do the the first 6 courses online.
Hope that helps :-)
You say in your post that that you completed the weekend course and are now startin your 100 hours! I thought the 100 hours had to be done before the weekend or does it matter? I booked weekend course for november and hope to have the 100hrs online done before then. Should I be doin the online modules after the weekend? Thanks
Hey Celeste,
There was 21 of us doing the course, so not to big, but big enough!
Ah don't be nervous it's not that bad really :)
Hi
How many people were on your course? I am going 18th September and quite nervous...Thanks for the pearls of wisdom as I will be sure to remember them.
