reh...that interview seems pretty tough to me mate. The fact that you had yours early in the morning must of made it that extra hard mentally cos mate, i know if i had an interview at 1 in the morning i'd be half asleep. Hope you get it though mate. When did they say they'll get back to you?
Hey Ash! good luck with the interview mate! hope it goes down well for ya! I've got my interview on wednesday at 8.20am. let me know how it goes yeah mate.
i've applied for ulsan and deagu as part of my 2nd and 3rd choice. I still can't believe that we have to do the lesson plan lol that was the whole point of applying for busan. I might of aswel applied for seoul now that i've done the lesson plan, grrrr......
hahaha my jaw dropped when i saw that e-mail at work! bloody hell! well i've did my lesson plan last night but i doubt it's good enough though. i think busan might be a bit of a long shot now.
Thanks, good luck to you too! I'm doing my TEFL now. I haven't started applying for jobs yet, thinking of giving Interac a go. Their next screening is really close (Oct/Nov), so not sure if I'll be prepared by then. Going to see how the TEFL class goes first.
Hope you don't mind me adding you, saw your post on Paul's profile & it seems we have similar goals & live in the same city.
how you doing there matey! mate if we both get through we definately should link up and grab our last pints before we shoot off to korea. Lets just hope that we both pass our interview lol. hows the money saving going on haha bloody hell its tough work i tell you that now haha
Hello, yes I did indeed apply for the March intake so I stayed out there for 13 months, 12 of which I spent working at my lovely little schools.
Hi, good luck with application materials and such for Korea! I have visited both Korea and Japan and in all honesty, I think it's the language and culture that draws me more to Japan. I do know many foreigners who absolutely fell in love with Korea, so it really depends on the person and their unique experiences. Regardless, you're sure to have a wonderful time wherever you end up =)
No, I wish I were in the UK! Or anywhere else really except here, which is the US. I feel a bit guilt-ridden for saying that but do you ever wonder or feel like you're just completely wrong, out of place wherever you are at the moment? This is how I feel right now, all the more reason for me to do my TEFL and move out to Japan! or wherever will hire me. =)
Oyasumi-nasai =)
Hi Ashley, you sound similar to me in terms of your travel/teaching goals and destinations. How are you doing with the TEFL course? Are you applying for any teaching jobs at the moment?
I'm really hoping to do the Japan intake in March, will you be doing that one too? It would be awesome to meet up and teach together if you are! Take care.
