Need a little help!

Hi I have just started teaching and I have a B2 level Teen private student, once per week, who needs to work on his conversational skills and suffers from a lack of vocabulary. We use a book ever second week but he finds this fairly easy as he is quiet good at grammar etc. Any tips, materials links or ideas are most welcome.
