I'm still a university student and am trying to look around for people who have experience teaching in South Korea as well as how you got there? Like what did you major in, how well you did in school, how the application process went. Anyways, a lot of questions, I know, but if you have time to reply and maybe chat a little it would be much appreciated!
Thank you,
Kellie
Hey Denise!
I've recently applied for a TEFL job in South Korea. I've an interview scheduled for next week, hopefully it'll go well and it will be all systems go! What is it like there? I'm also from Ireland and wondering how did you cope with the culture difference?
Ann-Marie
Hey Denise,
I've just finished my TEFL course and I think I'm gonna go the South Korea route. How do you find it there... your probably sick of people asking you but sure how bad right!! What part of Ireland are you from, I hail from the Kingdom!
Sara
Hiya, i-to-i has pointed me in your direction. I'm getting a little lost with looking into teaching in South Korea. Would you mind if i asked you some things about it, how you're finding it etc.? No worries if not.
Cheers,
Matthew
Hi there. I'm Max and I've been looking into the south korean teaching option too. I'd love to ask you loads of questions about it - I assume you're enjoying it? I wondered what hours you do, how much time off you get and whether or not you're working with other tefl teachers or alone in the school. Sorry to bombard you with questions but i'd love to hear all about it.
Thanks and all the best,
Max.

I can help you learn how to read korean also if you fancy it. xxx
Teaching is ok, have some good and bads days. teaching children and adults. I enjoy the adult classes but some of the kids can be nightmares. I've never taught before but I think I'm doing ok. What about you?
Hey Denise, I'm here just over a month now and teaching in a pretty small town called Hongseong. It's a hagwon so the teaching hours are a bit strange compared to Ireland. It's going well at the moment! Arrived here in early December with my girlfriend and the two of us are teaching in the same school so it's pretty cool.
